Old-Fashioned Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp

This Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp has a crunchy, buttery oat topping to complement the tangy filling.  Serve it warm with ice cream. **And we now carry Kenosee Creamery ice cream at Harmony Health Clinic.   Made locally at Kenosee Lake, this ice cream is made with minimal ingredients and is truly AMAZING!!! Roasted Honey-Dijon Salmon with Spring Vegetables

Garden planning - repel mosquitoes this summer with these plants

Healthier alternatives to Ozempic

Ozempic, the wonder weight loss drug, has seen some bad press recently with reports of pancreatitis, muscle wasting and gastric paralysis becoming a common side effect, with many more starting to show up as well. Sun-Dried Tomato Garlic Olive Oil Dip

Ingredients 1 jar (8 ounce)  oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes (Julienne cut makes it a bit easier) 1-2 cloves garlic, grated 1 small shallot, finely chopped 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon smoked or regular paprika 1-2 teaspoons chili flakes 1/2 cup grated parmesan fresh basil, for serving Instructions Drain the oil from the sun-dried tomato jar into a small saucepan, you should have 1/2 cup oil.  Chop 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes and mix into the oil. Add the garlic, shallot, oregano, thyme, paprika and chili flakes.  Over low heat and simmer until warm, 5 minutes.  Add the parmesan to a bowl and pour the hot oil over the cheese. Top with basil.
